APPLICATION

The KP Pipe Belt Conveyor is a special type of conveyors developed on the basis of the through belt conveyor. We usually use six idlers to form a regular polygon idler group to force the conveyor belt to form a circle.

1. Mining Industry

  • Materials Handled: Coal, copper concentrate, iron ore, gold ore, bauxite, and limestone.
  • Purpose: Transport valuable or hazardous materials without spillage. Navigate challenging terrain and protect materials from contamination.
  • Example: Transporting copper concentrate from mine sites to processing plants.

2. Cement and Building Materials

  • Materials Handled: Gypsum, clinker, limestone, fly ash, and aggregates.
  • Purpose: Efficiently move materials to and from cement kilns or stockyards. Maintain material integrity by shielding it from external elements.
  • Example: Transporting gypsum from quarries to cement plants.

3. Power Generation

  • Materials Handled: Coal, fly ash, and biomass.
  • Purpose: Deliver fuel to power plants with minimal environmental impact. Handle fly ash removal and transport in a clean, sealed system.
  • Example: Coal transport in eco-sensitive zones.

4. Steel and Metal Industries

  • Materials Handled: Iron ore, coke, and slag.
  • Purpose: Prevent spillage and protect high-value materials during transport. Ensure clean and efficient movement to processing facilities.
  • Example: Moving iron ore pellets from ports to steel plants.

5. Environmental and Waste Management

  • Materials Handled: Waste materials, municipal solid waste (MSW), and slag.
  • Purpose: Enclose odorous or hazardous materials to prevent environmental contamination. Transport waste for recycling, incineration, or landfilling.
  • Example: Transporting waste from urban areas to treatment plants.

6. Chemical and Fertilizer Industries

  • Materials Handled: Sulfur, phosphates, potash, and urea.
  • Purpose: Safely transport fine or reactive chemicals without exposure to air. Reduce losses and contamination risks during handling.
  • Example: Moving potash from storage to blending units.

7. Port and Marine Terminals

  • Materials Handled: Grain, ores, coal, and other bulk commodities.
  • Purpose: Transfer materials from ship unloaders to stockpiles or storage silos. Protect cargo from wind and rain during transfer operations.
  • Example: Transporting coal from a port terminal to inland stockyards.

8. Environmentally Sensitive Areas

  • Materials Handled: Various bulk materials.
  • Purpose: Transport materials through eco-sensitive areas like forests, rivers, or urban zones. Minimize environmental impact with enclosed and spill-proof systems.
  • Example: Limestone transport through protected wildlife areas.

ADVANTAGE
  • Enclosed Tubular Conveyor Belt Design

The conveyor belt is shaped into a tube, creating a fully enclosed system. This design helps contain dust, protect the environment, and safely transport materials, reducing the environmental impact along the route.

  • Energy Efficiency and Less Transfer Points

The enclosed design and low rolling resistance of the pipe belt conveyor improve energy efficiency, lowering power consumption. Pipe conveyors also need fewer transfer points, reducing maintenance and wear on components.

  • Ability to Convey at Steep Angle Route

Pipe belt conveyors can transport materials at steep angles, often over 30 degrees. They are ideal for areas with limited space or difficult terrain.

  • High Strength Tubular Belt Construction

The pipe conveyor belt is reinforced with textile or steel cords for strength and durability. It is flexible, allowing it to form the pipe shape and navigate curves.

  • Versatility in Belt Conveying Directions

Our pipe belt conveyors can transport materials horizontally, vertically, or at various angles. They are versatile, able to handle curved routes and move materials in both directions.

  • Reduced Spillage and Dust Emission

The enclosed design of the pipe belt conveyor reduces material spillage and is ideal for applications requiring containment. Its closed structure controls dust, creating a cleaner and safer work environment.
